シマノからタイヤ交換時期などがわかる新アプリの特許

シマノが新しい特許として、タイヤの交換時期などがわかるようになるアプリに関する特許を申請しているようだ。

Provided are a detecting device, a detecting method, a generating method, and a computer-readable storage medium that allow the user to readily obtain information on the degree of wear for a worn portion in the human-powered vehicle. この(6)には、現在必要なのは簡単に部品がどれくらい消耗しているのかわかるような手段をユーザーに提供することだと主張し、(7)では、この新しいアプリの目的はそうした情報を得られるデバイスなどを提供することだと書いている。

このブログを見ているような海千山千の猛者たちには不要なアプリかもしれないが、自転車を趣味として始めたばかりの初心者には良いかもしれない。早め早めに部品を交換してくれると、業界側もありがたい？
