Sunwebがロマン・バルデ移籍を発表

かねてから噂されていた通り、現在AG2Rのエースのロマン・バルデがチームSunwebへ移籍することが決まった。SunwebのTwitterをどぞ。

チームSunweb公式：Romain Bardet joins Team Sunweb from 2021 onwards, signing a two-year contract

契約期間は2年。上の記事中でバルデは次のように述べている。

At Team Sunweb I have the opportunity to start with no specific expectations or a specific race to target. Instead we will focus first on the basics and the fundamentals, working hard and with dedication to improve on all different areas as an athlete – after this we will look to race schedules and goals. 

訳「チームSunwebでは、とりあえず最初の間は、特に定まった目標とか特定のレースへの成功とかを考えないことになっているんよ。そのかわり基礎をしっかりと固めることを重要視するつもり。しっかりとトレーニングして全てのいろんな能力を向上させていきたい。そうしてから、レース計画や目標を決めいくことになってるんよ」

なお噂によると、チームSunwebのバイクはCeveloからArgon 18に変わるとかなんとか。Argon 18は去年までAstanaが使っていたが、今年からAstanaはWilierである。
