このツイートの内容は、グレゴリー・ラストは今シーズンの最後で引退するで、というもの。現在はツアー・オブ・ユタ（アメリカのユタ州一周レース）に参戦中。

 

グレゴリー・ラストは今となっては懐かしいRadioShack時代の2010年からずっとTrek一筋のベテラン。デビューは2001年。カンチェラーラと同じスイス人のおじさん。RadioShackに来る前はアスタナに所属。

 

今シーズンの終わりで引退するんやけど、ラストおじさんは同チームの運営側スタッフとして残るもよう。

 

今後のラストの役割について、同チームのボスLuca Guercilenaは次のように述べる。

 

“He’s one of the backbones of the team, and over the past few years, we saw him develop into an excellent guide for the young riders,”

 

訳「ラストはうちのチームの屋台骨みたいなもんや。長い間ラストは若手にとってすばらしい見本となるよう精進してくれてた」

 

“He shared his broad experience and knowledge with them without any reserves. That’s why we are happy to keep him on board. We are looking at different options now, but we have not yet defined in which function that will be.”

 

訳「ラストは自身の豊富な経験と知識をチーム全体に遠慮なく分け与えてくれた。せやからラストが運営側に残ってくれるのが嬉しいわ。ワシらは違う選択肢も検討してる最中やけど、まだ明確にどんな役割をやってもらうのかは未定や」
