GCNがフランスへ進出へ

世界中の自転車ファンが楽しむ自転車メディアがGlobal Cycling NewsことGCN。Play Sports　Group(PSG)が運営している。

2019年には日本でGCN Japanが発足し、日本独自のサービスを開始した。また今年にはドイツにも進出。そんなGCNがフランスでのサービスを始める。

というか、今までフランス版はなかったんやね。ツール・ド・フランスのお膝元であり自転車レースの中心地でもあるだけにすでにあるものとばかり思っていた。

今回のフランス進出でGCNは、2018年のスペインとイタリア、2019年の日本、2020年のドイツに次ぐ、ローカル版GCNの誕生となる。

GCNは2013年に始まったが、順調にビジネスを成長させ、グローバル展開に成功していると思われる。まぁもともと英語でのメディアやから、グローバル展開なんて最初からやってると言われれば、「そらそうよ」やけど。

なおGCNフランス版ではEurosportとも協力してサービスを展開していくもよう。
